Graham is originally from Victoria, where he attended high school and university. He graduated from the University of Victoria in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. For the next few years, Graham worked in management for a commercial disposal business and a commercial property management company. Keen to expand his knowledge of finance, in 2002 Graham returned to school to complete the remaining prerequisites for the Chartered Accountant designation. Then in 2002, Graham joined a small public accounting firm in Vancouver where he met Conrad and Sean.
In 2005 Graham successfully completed his CA, earning a position on the Canadian Honour Roll and the distinction of valedictorian for the 2006 graduating class. While studying for his exams, Graham became increasingly interested in transactions and valuation. So in 2008 he moved on to a Big 4 firm and joined the advisory and transactions practice where he became a Chartered Business Valuator. Over the next ten years, Graham moved on to two other international firms, working primarily in Vancouver and Langley, but also in Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto.
During this time Graham enjoyed experiences in a broad range of industries and services, providing valuation and litigation support, financial consulting, taxation and auditing, and assurance services to public and private businesses. Most recently, Graham spent two and half years assisting a local firm with its expansion into the Langley market. In doing so, Graham returned to his small business roots, focusing on accounting tax and advisory issues for his clients.
Joining Conrad, Chris, and Sean at CRSP CPA Corp represents the culmination of Graham’s vision when he first set out to earn his CA, CPA designation. At CRSP, Graham enjoys collaborating with long-time friends and colleagues in a modern, progressive environment to provide his clients, first-in-class service.
When not in the office, you can find Graham with his family camping, skiing, attempting to address never-ending yard work and occasionally brewing craft beer in his basement.
